“Bold Intimidation and Evil Intent”

“Bold Intimidation and Evil Intent”

By

Gregory V. Boulware

I saw a photo of Our First Lady, posted on Yahoo’s news splash page on the Internet the other day. It had her portrayed as a Black Slave with the telltale headscarf (Aunt Jemima) and such. The ongoing political and cliquish attack upon our President, his Wife and Children continue…especially with the advent of this current election process.  They’ve made plans to assassinate him while calling his kids “little pic-a-ninnys!” Is this an intimidation tactic aimed towards Our President because he is Black, not a puppet, not stupid but smart and wise?

The attacks are not just directed towards him. The attacks are aimed at you and me as well. The cowards have actually gone out and dug up and posted on the Internet, some shit on me from thirty-five years ago. What’s the purpose? I’ve not been in the work force for some four or five years now (retired-disabled). Could it be because I’m an Obama supporter? Is it because I’ve said and maybe published too much of the truth about certain things? Could it be that they want me to shut up? Why would they wish to silence me? Why would all these law professionals along with the author of the advertisement, Judge Disalle, Alan L. Phillips, with him Taylor Aspinwall, for appellant, Charles G. Hasson, Assistant Attorney General, with him Richard Wagner, Chief Counsel, and Edward G. Biester, Jr., Attorney General, for appellee, Stephen I. Kasloff, with him Rappeport, Magil, Rappeport & Kasloff, for intervenor. (Judges Rogers, DiSalle and Craig, sitting as a panel of three; Opinion by Judge DiSalle), for Bloomberg Law and counsel wish to sell my unemployment case for $6.99? Are they not making enough money doing honest civil service work?
The advertisement Reads: (Buy This Entire Record for $6.99 - Official citation and/or docket number and footnotes (if any) for this case available with purchase. Learn more about what you receive with purchase of this case.)

I wonder… They’ve (The G.O.P. and right-wingers) made bold attempts to eradicate a plethora of things, yes? Are My Social Security Benefits at risk? Are yours as well? Would you agree that it would make them happy to see us all right back in chains? While the poor white folk and other working groups return to indentured service/slavery? Do you think that the changes they propose would make haters of You, Obama, and Me happy?

Based on factual material they have all been spreading falsehoods, misstatements, and untruths…in short, just plain and simple lying! They know it. Don’t you think that everything that has been done hasn’t been carefully and properly calculated? If you don’t, you’ve truly been asleep and out of touch with who and what has your best interest at heart. If they can touch the highest of us with filthy and vile contraband, think of what the powers that be can dig up on you. However, if you’d noticed, many of their factual evidence has nearly always been flawed? One example is the date of my so-called taboo against humanity, which supposedly took place in 1979. I was working in the transportation industry with highest honors as a proficient and top-notch heavy equipment and motor coach operator. Whereas, the date of the infraction was never actually proven, it supposedly took place in the year 1977 into 1978.

"At the first hearing before the referee, Employer offered only uncorroborated hearsay that Claimant was seen smoking marijuana on the day of his discharge. The referee found that Employer never witnessed Claimant using marijuana and therefore had not proved any act of willful misconduct. However, at the second hearing, an Employer witness testified that he observed Claimant smoking marijuana in Employer's plant on the day of his discharge." (11/29/79 – date of court decision) Why would I be concerned with anything they had to say when I had moved on – long gone from that racist and intimidating environment? Did it matter whether I was guilty or not for indulging in the smoking of weed that’s not of their choice? Maybe I wasn’t cottoned to for being too independent, My Own Man, and not to be patted on the head for doing a fine job. I actually told the machine shop manager to take his promotion and stick it! He didn’t like that. He said to me, “Who do you think you are – you don’t get to pick and choose your jobs in here!” I did. I returned to the punch-press operations and walked away from tool and die setup. I wasn’t allowed to take a step back to the job that I preferred – I was supposed to be happy in accepting the new assignment, arrogant Black Man that I was.

Oh yes, I did win the case…they came back with a so-called witness, while under duress state that he saw me commit the awful deed. There was no other soul who could attest to his manufactured testimony. The man (who professed to be my friend, riding companion, and beer-drinking partner while at his home) was every bit of late sixty-ish…and doing all he could to hang on to his pension. He told the unemployment referee that he “didn’t get up on Sunday to preach and turn around on Monday to tell a lie.” The other fellow could not confirm whether he saw me or didn’t see me. Oh, didn’t I mention that one was Black and the other White. It was the white guy who couldn’t confirm the accusation. Many people have consciences, remorse, and scruples. Maybe this guy was one of those types of people. The old deacon on the other hand, swore on a Bible that he was telling the truth. (Man, I’m getting into a novel here). What was that latest news report about some church officials going to jail?

Let me enlighten you on a couple of things that just might coincide with those bold and brash right-wing TV speeches of late:

Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and their wealthy cronies want you to think they built this country. But the truth is: WE built it. Working families built this country with hard work and the belief that work connects us all, and unions are the way we stand up for the principle that everyone’s work matters.
David Boundy
National Campaigns Director, AFL-CIO

Paul Ryan is a rigid far-right ideologue and a clever politician.
That’s a dangerous combination -- especially in an election where ultraconservative billionaires like the Koch Brothers are spending millions to ensure that their extreme right-wing agenda becomes a reality.
Rep. Barney Frank

James Carville is right. Paul Ryan, the Tea Party wonder boy, spoke in front of his biggest fans. And when they heard his Obama-bashing speech, the money poured in to defeat President Obama and Democrats nationwide.
Ryan Jham

Paul Ryan lied to the American people. Some journalists and outlets covered Ryan's lies. But others failed to check the facts and didn't call Ryan out on his brazen lies. In this crucial election, news reporters have an obligation to educate the public about the facts regarding the major issues and call out the candidates every time they lie.
Here is a list of five lies that Paul Ryan told when he gave his speech at the Republican National Convention last night. Every single news outlet should report on these lies.

1. Lie: President Obama is the "greatest threat" to Medicare.
Truth: Obama didn't make any cuts to Medicare benefits; he made cuts to provider reimbursements, to improve cost efficiency and extend the fiscal security of Medicare by eight years. According to the Medicare actuary, "[Obama's] Affordable Care Act makes important changes to the Medicare program and substantially improves its financial outlook." (1)
But Ryan actually does want to cut benefits. He proposed dismantling Medicare and replacing it with a voucher system, leaving millions of seniors to come up with more money to pay for care out of pocket. (2, 3)

2. Lie: President Obama didn't save a General Motors plant in Wisconsin.
Truth: First, Obama wasn't even in office when the GM plant closed. Second, Obama never made a promise to save it. (4)

3. Lie: President Obama ignored recommendations of a bipartisan debt commission.
Truth: Paul Ryan actually sat on that commission. And he led Republicans in voting down the commission's own recommendation. So the commission never gave a report to Obama, because Ryan himself voted to kill the report before it could. (5)

4. Lie: President Obama is responsible for the downgrading of the U.S. Credit Rating
Truth: House Republicans, including Paul Ryan, held the full faith and credit of the United States hostage to try to ransom it for trillions of dollars in cuts to social programs without increasing taxes on the wealthy one-dime. Standard & Poors said specifically, "We have changed our assumption on [revenue] because the majority of Republicans in Congress continue to resist any measure that would raise revenues." That's why our nation's credit rating was downgraded. (6, 7)

5. Lie: Ryan wants to protect the "weak."
Truth: Ryan's biggest feat in his political career was proposing a budget with dramatic cuts to programs benefiting the poor. He'd cut Medicaid by one third, take away health care insurance from 30 million Americans, and cut Pell Grants for 1 million students. All so that he could give more tax breaks to the rich.

I want you to remember one thing about that Republican Convention:
All those radical ideas you heard on TV would become a reality if Romney were elected with a Republican Congress to back him up. My friends at the DCCC are working overtime to expose the Republicans' plans to sell out the middle class for multi-millionaire tax breaks, but they need your help right now. Midnight tonight is the most important fundraising deadline of this election.

The Romney-Ryan-Republican plan would essentially end Medicare, defund Planned Parenthood and repeal Obamacare. It would slash student aid and gut Social Security.

Why?

Just so they could pay for more tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires. If we wake up the day after the election and Romney and the Republicans have won, it will be too late.
Paul Begala

Imagine if that convention speech was actually an inaugural address.

Now, think about the radicals Mitt shared the stage with all week—not just Paul Ryan, but Rick Santorum, Chris Christie, Scott Walker, Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio.

Picture them in control of everything. Not just Congress, but running the Departments of Defense, State, Justice, and Treasury—and in charge of appointing three Supreme Court justices.
Guy Cecil

Well, it wasn’t my intention to turn this message into a novel-sized story, just meant to encourage you all to get out and vote. Support the people who truly support you with Your best interest at heart – people who believe in and support the TRUTH!

When we get to the poles, we will tell them you cannot and will not suppress OUR RIGHT TO VOTE, nor will you KILL the WILL and FREEDOM of “WE THE PEOPLE!”

Mitt and his buddies are running a massive advertising campaign to convince voters that he's actually concerned about the average citizen.

But that's a lie we're not going to let him tell.

“We will not be intimidated by callous and crass lies or bold statements of evil intent!”
